This will be my second year teaching 4th grade after many years in primary. I am really looking forward to the new year. Like all of you, I have been busy the last couple weeks getting my classroom ready. I decided to stick with my hollywood theme and just add some new things.
Here are a few pictures of some of the additions/changes.
This is my front door.
My desk and small group meeting area. I opted not to use the crates for storage, so they are simply crates turned upside down with chair cushions tied on.
Here is our homework/assignment board
Student work- Bravo board
Student check-in center and mailboxes.
It is finally feeling homey again. Kiddos come tomorrow! Very excited!
Your classroom looks fantastic! I am so jealous! I just got into mine yesterday for a short time and I need to do sooooo much!
ReplyDeleteHave a great year!

It looks great!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the easy way you did the crates!!! I am dying to go get some crates and pillows now. I just don't know where I would put them once they were done LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your door! It looks great! Hope that you had a good first day!

Wonderful looking classroom. I'm wonder if anyone else has strict fire codes preventing them from hanging things on the front door and walls? My school only allows us to cover 25% of our walls and we have to use fire-retardant butcher paper. Just curious....
ReplyDeleteYour room looks incredible! I LOVE the Bravo board and how coordinated everything is!

Good and another post from you admin :)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you buy your filmstrip bulletin border? I have been looking and can't find anything similar anywhere! :) Thanks! -Lindsay
ReplyDeleteI have that border. It was at my local teacher supply store. I bet you can find it on line.
ReplyDeleteHow did you attach you clothes pins to the paper?
